A Message from the Chief

On behalf of the Taylor Police Department, I’d like to welcome you to our website. I encourage you to take some time to explore our site and read about our current divisions, programs, goals and priorities.

Now more than ever, law enforcement agencies across the country are trying to do more with less. To do so means building working relationships with the community. Our officers are encouraged and guided by a community policing philosophy. That means going beyond “crime fighting” and going the extra step in the service we provide our residents and business owners.

By listening to the community, we are able to better target our resources to be more effective in critical police services.

I am hopeful we can all be more invested in making our community safer.

The relationships that develop and the problem solving activities that occur, help to reduce crime and improve the standard of living in all our neighborhoods.
