There will be a public hearing and meeting on Wednesday, November 29, concerning two hazardous deep injection wells located in the City of Romulus. This meeting is open to the public.Environmental Geo-Technologies, LLC, the owner/operator of the site, seeks to increase the pressure at which treated waste and hazardous waste fluids are injected into the wells, which are located at 28470 Citrin Drive.
Wednesday's meeting and hearing will each be held at the Romulus Athletic Center, 35765 Northline Road.
The site is within a heavily populated urban area, with close proximity to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and many businesses.● The public meeting will run from 5:30-7 p.m. and will discuss the company's proposal.● The public hearing will follow from 7-8 p.m.. You can comment on the proposal at that time.
