The Taylor Recreation Department is looking at a busy month ahead. Scheduled are Saturday's (November 4) craft show, new classes and the "Weight Loss Challenge."
The craft show is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, at the William Ford Senior Activities Center, 6750 Troy, north of Ecorse Road. Tables are still available for vendors, at a cost of $25 per table and $2.50 per rack. Admission to the show is just $1.
The recreation center's "Elements of Exercise" program begins next week, with Contact Cardio Boxing and Sculpt-Free classes beginning on Tuesday, November 7. The class will be held on Tuesdays from 7:15-8:15 p.m. for six weeks. Cost is $42.
Another new class, Total Body Cardio and Strength-Free, begins on Thursday, November 9. The class will be held on Thursdays from 9-10 a.m. for five weeks. Cost is $36.
In addition, the "Weight Loss Challenge" will begin during the second week of January -- just in time to lose those unwanted holiday pounds. Register beginning on December 1.
