Host Dr. Paul Reeves and Karl Ziomek interview the librarians on changes in the facility over the past two years, new programming, the Braille Talking Books program and more.
The Taylor Community Library underwent major changes two years ago, switching from county run to city run. Because of deteriorating financial conditions, the Wayne County Library network disbanded and the facility reverted back to the city of Taylor. The Braille & Talking Books section of the Taylor Community Library held its grand opening in April 2016, serving Wayne County residents unable to read standard printed matter. The "library for the blind" was previously housed in Westland, and then moved to Lansing before finding a home in Taylor.
