MDOT to hold meeting on major upcoming I-75 construction

The Michigan Department of Transportation will hold a meeting on Thursday, January 26, in Woodhaven concerning the upcoming I-75/Rouge River project.

The meeting is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. at the Woodhaven Community Center, 23101 Hall Road. Anyone can attend.

MDOT is currently preparing for road and bridge work. This will include concrete pavement and joint repairs, bridge approach, concrete barrier replacement and much more. The area targeted, I-75 between Clark Avenue in Detroit and Gibraltar Road in Woodhaven, is one of the busiest roadways in the Detroit metro area.

Construction is scheduled to begin February 4 and continue through 2018.
