The City of Taylor has contracted with Fiore Enterprises, LLC to reconstruct a portion of the Ecorse-Telegraph cut-off, from north bound Telegraph Road to east bound Ecorse Road.
Work is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Wednesday, May 18. Barricades and detour signage will be set up the afternoon of May 17, prior to the start of the reconstruction work. The work will last approximately two to three weeks.
To access Pine St., Oak St., Elm St. and Birch St., east of Telegraph and south of Ecorse Road, motorists should turn right off of Telegraph onto eastbound Crowley St. Also, to access eastbound Ecorse Road, motorists will be detoured north on Telegraph to the first turnaround after passing under Ecorse Road and onto southbound Telegraph, then directed onto the westbound/eastbound Ecorse Road access ramp.
All traffic will continue to be able to exit the Walmart Supercenter shopping area to the north onto the Ecorse-Telegraph cut-off and proceed east to Pine St., Oak St., Elm St. and Birch St. and Ecorse Road.
The City of Taylor apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause. The City and Fiore will try to limit the inconvenience as best as possible. Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
